hehe hi! welcome to my dreamwidth! i've been talking about making one of these ever since like... my second week on rps twt? i'm finally making one now! bc im bored and i like talking about myself. but also im procrastinating this heejay fic im supposed to be writing LMAO. 

if you don't know who i am, you are so lucky. jk lol hi my name is bel (or you can call me b if you're more comfortable with that). i'm also @dizzyingflicker on twitter and woundinsalt on ao3! hmmm what else what else... i'm 20 years old? i'm seven months older than lee heeseung HAH. 

i mainly ult enhypen but i guess i casually stan txt and some other 4th gen idols too! but i really only care about enhypen. i've been a fan since their iland days but only just recently decided to fully stan idk idk. i cried when jay debuted, is that engene enough for yall?? my bias is jungwon but really, i think i biasline 3J. 

okay uhhh what else should i even say on here? ooh im an aries! i dont remember what i am sepcifically in regards to like astrology technicalities (i always search it up then forget it immediately im so sorry) im also an infp and a type 9! take of that what you will LMAO. 

my hobbies include writing, listening to music and zoning out. which is perfect because im really good at these three things and that's pretty much all i have going for me. ^^ i'm indonesian so i can speak it, but i've lived in singapore since i was a little baby. yes hi hello first gen immigrant here. 

should i do some fun facts about me in bullet points then? 

• i dont rlly care for labels, but if i had to use one then i guess i'd use queer?? yeah idc if you dont like that word, that's what i choose to call my whole blob of a sexual orientation so deal with it 
• i like yellow and pink! i think they're both colours very telling of my personality 
• i lovveee eating heavy foods with lots of dairy and cheese but im extremely lactose intolerant 
• my favourite scent is anything sweet and fruity *limp wrist* 
• i graduated from a creative writing course, which is exactly why im still stuck doing my old part time job rn 
• i've met tom holland, jacob batalon, clairo and a few local celebrities. some of them i met on my internship while others.... yeah. 
• i could've been a competitive swimmer if my mum didn't bring me to the library every week when i was a kid. bro if i didn't like to read.... i'd probably be swimming as an ATHLETE *GAGS* 
• i have a very low attention span so if i, yknow, spazz out a lot on twt that's probably why

enhypen! i'm disgustingly obsessed with these kids and i think it rlly all started with their music. they don't rlly have much out right now but i have to say that border:carnival is my fav currently. but my fav song from iland is still chamber 5 IDC IDC it was iconic she was the moment 

txt! i may not be as big of a moa as i used to be, but it's kinda hard to let go of the first kpop group that drove you to actual sanity. the dream chapter: magic is genuinely one of the best kpop albums ever. 

chloe moriondo! i've known about her since i was in secondary school... YEH. she replied to my ig comment before! don't remember what it was tho. my favourite album from her is blood bunny, her most recent release. i love all of her songs, they make me feel like im the mc in a coming of age movie by a24. 

cavetown! my dear sweet robbie i love.... my favourite ep will forever be dear. my dear dear DEAR i love this ep sososososo much it's insane. 

glee.... now hear me out. i had a really weird phase in my life where i unironically enjoyed glee. (and yes, i wrote fics for it. sue me.) although the show is very very questionable and well, GLEE, it did introduce me to a bunch of songs i still enjoy til this day and it's honestly a blast to binge watch when you feel shitty about your own writing. 

and a whole bunch of musicals, here are some that i like: hedwig and the angry inch, waitress, la la land, mean girls, starkid, dear evan hansen 

a kpop stan and a threatre nerd... snickers. 
bojack horseman! if im being real honest w yall rn im getting kinda sleepy so i'll be brief. this show talks about a lot of very profound things and it really helped me in my own self-awareness. i hate that i can relate to some of the characters, but it's a show i always go to when i feel kinda empty and sad. it's made me cry more times than i count. i love it, please watch this if you haven't. 

sex education! for a show full of stereotypes, it does an excellent job at fleshing out actual characters beyond their archetypes. plus asa butterfield is one of my fav actors. go white boy go! 

black mirror (before season 5)! it's just mind blowing. i love it. 

the marvel cinematic universe and all the chaos that comes with it! i used to write captain america and avengers fanfic! i also have a lot of good childhood memories with marvel movies so it's something i love very very dearly. i used to rewatch avengers and the spider-man films with my late dad when i was a kid, so these films have been a very big part of my life. my fav marvel character is still spider-man. i love u peter parker. and YEAHHH im a massive mcu nerd. seriously. it's disgusting. i'm one of those people who used to rush to get tickets for the first day release. i watch theory videos. i've seen avengers so many times i can recite the lines already. 

forrest gump! if i ever have a dog, im going to name it forrest. 


ok if i'm being very frank, i haven't really read since i was like 15. idk a lot of stuff happened and i kinda fell out of reading. i have, however, always been reading fanfiction. i'm sure there are countless fics out there that contributed to my writing skills or whatevah, but i'll just talk about some books that got me into reading and writing in the first place! 

the look - sophia bennett! tbh there is absolutely nothing so groundbreaking about this book now that i'm a full grown adult talking about it, but it is a book that i can still remember til this day. basically. 'ugly' girl has pretty sister who gets cancer. they go bald togehter. ugly girl gets scouted by a modelling agency. ugly girl becomes model. ugly girl likes snarky dude. snarky dude doesn't think her modelling is impressive or cool. yeah that's basically it. 

cherub! nowwwww i was way too young to be reading this. but my older brother was OBSESSED with this series so ofc. OFC i would too. i think i admired my older brother a lot more than i would've liked to admit, bc he got me into a lot of things that i still enjoy today. bless his soul tho, he still thinks i like bts. OH YEAH CHERUB. it's basically about a british government organization that trains kids to be spies. they spend 100 days in basic training before they become actual spies. they do all sorts of insane missions and it's very vulgar and violent but SOSOSOSO good. i think most of my snark today comes from that series tbh.
it's genuinely insane and i think cherub was my harry potter as a kid! (i read hp too but i have like 0 recollection of it tbh) IF YOU HAVENT READ CHERUB AND ENJOY BADASS ACTION COMEDY YA STUFF, READ THIS!!!! i promise you won't regret it. i might write an enha au based off this if i have the energy. my brother and i had one copy of one of the books in the series and it's been read and reread so much by the both of us that the book fell apart. YEAH.
